Ear Disorders

These involve a range of conditions affecting the ear’s structure or function, often leading to
symptoms like pain, hearing loss, or dizziness.

  • Tinnitus: A condition characterized by ringing, buzzing, or other sounds in the ears,

often caused by exposure to loud noises or ear infections.

  • Vertigo: A sensation of spinning or dizziness, commonly caused by inner ear

problems or vestibular disorders.

  • Meniere’s Disease: A chronic inner ear disorder causing vertigo, hearing loss, and

tinnitus due to fluid buildup in the inner ear.

  • Blast Injury: Ear damage caused by exposure to explosions, leading to hearing loss,

ear drum rupture, or other auditory injuries.

  • Hearing Loss: A partial or total inability to hear, which can be caused by aging,

injury, infections, or long-term exposure to loud noises.

  • Trigeminal Neuralgia: Although it is mainly a facial pain disorder, it can sometimes

cause ear-related pain due to irritation of the trigeminal nerve.
